What specific strategies or policies do I need to implement to foster a place of belonging at work?
Dr. powell dives deep into many strategies and ideas you can put into action. He discusses the need for companies to devise universal goals for their people, not more universal strategies from the top down (there is a difference). The process involves unleashing people to “co-create” their future and help determine the rules, policies, and systems they’re joining. It is a shared leadership model that invites everyone in, where people feel heard and seen. It is a place where everyone—not just the marginalized—moves toward a common universal goal of belonging.
